What Do Blood Test Results During Periods Indicate?
I'm a 30 y.o female who recently had a Complete Blood Count completed along with various other labs. My RBC, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit were all elevated but my Dr. did not say anything about it. I was also on my period at the time the labs were taken, should I have a follow up or are the levels not concerning enough? RBC: 5.34 / Hemoglobin: 16.2 and Hematocrit: 47.6.Thank you.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Your blood tests shows increase in RBC count, haemoglobin & haemocrit value. Increased Rbc count haemoglobin & haemocrit are slightly over normal referance values. This is not a problem & is beneficial to you. This is normally seen in athletes, sportsperson, people living at high altitudes. So don't worry these results are not to be concerned about
Refer to your physician Hope this information helps
