What Do Brown Moles On The Head Of A Child Indicate?
Should I be concerned about sudden brown spots/moles on my 9-year old son s head? I noticed a brown spot where his sideburn is so I decided to check the rest of his head and found 10 of them. They definitely weren t there a couple months ago. They are approximately a 1/4 inch in size.

Moles on a child's skin are generally nothing to be worried about. Moles may increase in size or even in numbers as the child grows.
But if the number of moles increases suddenly, I'll advise you to consult a dermatologist for your child.
