Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have more and more brown spots on my lower legs. There must be over 50 spots. Some small and some raised a bit and red. I m not sure if I need to go to the doctor for them. There are a few red raised spots that are about pencil head or a bit bigger size by my ankles that are actually sore and raised to the touch. I do have one spot on my arm that has gotten bigger and weird shape giving it a 4 different pieces to just one spot on my arm. But I defetetly want to know if it s all normal or if I should see a doctor. Gina
Since you have brown spots on your legs you can apply Hirudoid Cream over the area. Hirudoid cream contain heparinoid, which is a similar to heparin. It is used to improve circulation after bruising or soft tissue injuries.
Heparinoid works by dissolving small blood clots and improving the blood supply to the skin. Gently massage about 5 to 15 cm of cream to the affected area. If the area is tender to touch, the cream be applied around the area, rather than directly on to the area. This can be repeated up to four times a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
