What Do Bumps On The Feet Indicate?

I have been getting bumps under my skin on the bottom of foot normally near my toes. I can only feel it when I walk and it normally only last a day or two. Tonight one showed up near my heal on the bottom of my foot. I can feel it when I walk but not when I push with my fingers. What could this be?
