Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have two red rashes in the shape of a circle with bright red dots in the middle of both. I had one circlular rash with the red dot in the middle last week and has now spread to two circles. Should I see a doctor? I also have extreme muscle ache in that spot.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of the lesion then it will be more helpful in identifying. It can be most likely fungal infection called tinea corporis. If you were my patient with such condition i would advise ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole and corticosteroid like flucinolone for local application. I also advise to take fluconazole tab weekly once to stop recurrence. It is better to show your GP or dermatologist to rule out this. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
