What Do Clogged Ears Post Treatment For Sinus Infection Suggest?
I had bad sinus infection that has lasted over a month and half or 6to 8 weeks I have taken antibiotics 2 times and had z pack and 2 or3 shots and have 2 dif nose spray. I feel like I have something in my ear ,like my ear won t pop . Should I go to a ear specialist? They say it just takes time but it seem like it gets better then doesn t.
The blocked feeling or sensation that the ear 'would not pop' can be related to eustachian tube dysfunction, this is abnormal function of the eustachian tube.
This tube connects the ear with the back of the throat. It has different functions including regularizing the pressure in the ear.
Sinus infections can cause dysfunction but as your doctors mentioned, this should resolve. Using anti histamines and decongestants may help.
If it continues for an extended period of time, then you should see your doctor.
I hope this helps
