Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, for the last few days now I have been feeling rather unwell. I ve had a sickly feeling in my throat that sometimes goes away once I ve eaten but generally not. I ve currently got a cold and have had a rather nasty cough and sometimes have a mild dizzy feeling. I Googled my symptoms which said that I could either have low blood pressure, low blood sugar or that I could be pregnant. I had my last period last week. Also, I have not been taking my thryroid tablets. Is there any advice that you could give?
You can have upper respiratory tract infection. The cough and dizziness could be due to that. You can be prescribed levodropropizine and chlorpheniramine containing syrup for that. I suggest you take vitamin C tablet as well. You have your period last week, so pregnancy seems unlikely
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
