Hello,
You are having nausea and feeling of throwing up post antibiotic intake. It can be due to side effect of the antibiotic you are taking. Medication-related nausea and vomiting can be constant or random, it usually starts shortly after taking a new medication/ antibiotic. Stop taking the antibiotic and talk to your treating doctor, he may give a medicine that suits you better.
Such symptoms may be due to stress, anxiety,
inner ear problems, mental health conditions, digestive disorders like
gastritis, IBS, GERD, etc., medical conditions like
gall bladder conditions,
gastroparesis, pancreatic conditions, liver dysfunction, etc. You are suggested to get a complete medical check up done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort. You will be treated accordingly.
Get liver function tests, imaging tests to detect
cholecystitis, liver dysfunction, raised
bilirubin levels, etc. You will be treated accordingly. You are suggested to cut on alcohol intake, smoking, addictions if any. Prefer to take home made boiled food for a couple of days over fried, oily, junk food.
Take lean meat, small fish, well cooked cereals, lots of fruits and vegetables. You are advised to avoid
trans fat, full fat dairy products, msg, Chinese salt, refined flour, etc. Take rest, maintain strict diet control and re-test for liver function tests. Presently, take anti emetics, one SOS when needed to stop vomiting and nausea.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
