What Do Cramps And Spotting In A Post Menopausal Woman Indicate?
I m a post menopausal woman (at least 2 years) who started cramping for a few days followed by light bleeding a week ago. I still have the same symptoms to date. Today I had the ultrasound(s) which will be sent to my gynecologist tomorrow. I have other health issues, and my ferritin has recently dropped from 54 to 40. I have involuntary limb movements. These causes haVe been ruled out ; not spine related, not brain related. I recently had a sleep study that indicated mildly severe apnea without snoring. I don t know if the aforementioned issues have anything to do with the cramping/bleeding. The blood is black, thick, and stringy-but light. Any ideas?
Any bleeding from vagina in post menopausal group should be taken seriously. Its good that you have undergone an ultrasound. Likely cause of bleeding is infection or tumor. Both these conditions are easily treatable.
