Hi my husband gets these cyst type places on the inside of his thighs (where his legs rub together) they get very painful until they are drained . They are full of bright red blood and a clear thin liquid only sometimes they will have tiny hard blood clot looking pebbles. What can he do to get rid of them. They cause his quite bit of discomfort. Sometimes exploding on their own from all the pressure that build up. Thank you so much for all your help
hi mam,I can understand your agony.those blisters can be caused by any one of the following 1)miliara due to friction. 2)hydradenitis suppurativa due to excessive sweating leading to infection. 3)abscess 4)folliculitis. as the symptoms include bloody discharge and pain,he is having infection.also such lesions are common in diabetics.blood sugars and hba1c test are to be done.only with examination of the area of swelling,an appropriate diagnosis can be made.he may need topical antibiotic cream, anti fungal powders and oral antibiotics.so,to prevent undue consequences like scarring, and any other complications, you need to consult a dermatologist.hope i’m clear.any other issues, please let me know. wish you and your family a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year.thank you.take care.bye.
