Hello dear I understand your concern Delayed period by two months is not normal. I would suggest to clear your pregnancy doubt by blood HCG and USG scan as it is very accurate tool to detect the pregnancy then HPT. But doctor gave you meprate and it contain synthetic progesterone hormone. In absence of the pregnancy, it is used to induce the period in hormonal imbalance. It promote the growth of the endometrium and after stopping withdrawal bleeding will occur. Bleeding will come with in 2-4 days after stopping the pill (Maximum 7 days).
