What Do Delayed Periods Indicate?

Hi.
My period is got delayed by 20 days and pregnancy results are negative..Doctor gave me sysron n for 5 days..the dose is completed now.After how many days can i expect my period..my periods were always regular..i am.newly married..Is it something to worry about ?? Please suggest.

Hi I think you can get your periods in 10 to 14 days. If periods don't come after that, repeat a pregnancy test. If negative, you can take a combination of oestrogen and progesterone for inducing periods. It can happen sometimes due to stress factor also. Hope it helps.
