What Do Delayed Periods While On Treatment For Infertility Suggest?
Doctor,my date of periods was 25,iam taking infertility treatment.but today is 30 still i can not notice any bleeding like periods then i consult my doctor he said after 1 week you should test again. He advised to take medicines like nidagen 200,and Fa 5 for me and zincovit for my husband. What is your opinion?
As you mentioned that you are taking treatment for infertility, different hormonal agents are used during this. So, there will be fluctuation or changes in the menstrual cycle can be seen which is normal because of the hormon regulating treatment. Make sure you take the medicines prescribed by your doctor as per his advice.
Also wait for a week, if you see anything unusual then contact your doctor during this. After a week do a pregnancy test by yourself or at the hospital. As your doctor is well aware of your history and the current treatment, he will be monitoring you carefully. So do not worry. Follow his advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
