What Do Difficult Walking And Headaches Indicate?

Saturday afternoon had difficulty walking, both my calf muscles were weak but I was able to keep walking just not as normal or as fast as I am usually able to. Sunday morning work up with bad headache and tingling in the bottom of both my feet and at the ends of my finger tips. Also, some things feel cool to the touch that normally wouldn t ie. sitting on the toilet and water tastes a little different to me now. Food not so much different. Monday morning same difficulty in walking, same tingling in four limbs. I am diabetic somewhat controlled with oral medications.

Hi,

This is peripheral nerve degeneration due to diabetes. Start taking vitamin B12 and Gabapentin for a few months, it will help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
