What Do Dizziness Along With Fatigue And Excessive Sweating Indicate?

My husband has had several episodes where his body gets triggered by cold and he is practically immobilized, states he is freezing , feels light headed and weak, gets clammy, breaks out is a sweat. This just happened yesterday after he ha been out for a run and then went to a store where there was AC. He was ill all evening and today he felt weak and awful. It s like his body can t regulate his temp properly. What could be the cause?

I have reviewed your query about your husband and here is my advice.

Severe cold, feeling freezing, immobilized, feeling light headed, weak and breaking out in sweating indicate one of the following:
Viral fever.
May be associated with hypothyroidism.
Other immuno-compromised states.
I would advise him the following in such a situation:
Consult a Doctor for a proper clinical evaluation, examination and necessary investigations so that we can get a proper diagnosis for an appropriate management.
Till then give him symptomatic treatment like Electrolyte solution.Ask him to stay indoor in a a comfortable bed with warm constant temperature.
Give Paracetamol for symptomatic relief.
Once the clinical evaluation and investigations reports indicate the correct diagnosis he will be given an appropriate management.
