What Do Elevated ALT Levels Indicate?
I have a slightly elevated ALT level with normal AST, GGT, ALP, TPAG levels. My bilirubin level is slightly elevated (I have Gilbert s Syndrome). Im negative for Hepatitis infection and my ultrasound of the liver shows normal findings. What can be the cause of my gradually increasing ALT levels?

Hello....A marginally elevated alt level even in gilberts syndrome does not hold much significance.
You have not mentioned the exact level.
Generally speaking transaminase levels (ALT or AST)which are greater than 3-5 times higher than the upper normal limit are considered to have clinical significance.
If that is not the case i would suggest that you keep monitoring your liver function once a month to see whether the rise is progressive or the level remains steady.
