What Do Elevated RBC Count With Fatigue And Sleep Disorders Suggest?
My red blood cell count is elevated and my blood pressure is about 138/78. I am a when my doctor asked me if I was tired I said yes. I don t sleep well. Its not that I wake up its that it sometimes takes me a long time to go to sleep. She wants me to have a sleep study for sleep apnea. Is that necessary.
As you are having sleep problems, your doctor has advised you to get tests done to rule out sleep apnea. As sleep apnea causes fatigue, tiredness and difficult night sleep, drowsiness in day time. Even sometimes increased RBC count could be because of chronic hypoxia due to sleep apnea. I advise you to get the investigation done as prescribed by your doctor.
Thank you
