What Do Elevated Myelocytes And Low WBC Results In A Blood Test Indicate?

I had a blood test and it showed an elevated myelocytes, but my wbc is very low due to systemic lupus, Sjogren s and Ra, my Neutrophils(absolute) is also elevated, with all my blood work throughout the years I ve never had myelocytes elevated they never even showed up on mum lab results, what does that all mean

Hi,

Raised neutrophils indicate the presence of infection. If you never had it, it means you did not have bacterial infection at the time of tests. It is a good sign.

Myelocytes are immature blood cells (neutrophils), they are normally seen in bone marrow. Seen in peripheral blood during infection and inflammation or more serious conditions. You had no myelocytes in the blood test, that means no infection or other problems. A good sign.
