What Do Encephalopathic Brainwaves@ On A CT Scan Report Suggest?
hi. My mother has advanced alzheimers. yesterday we went in to see a neurologist and the scan showed she had encephalopathic brainwaves which could signify infection or something else. we did blood work and UA draw - no sign of infection. so what else could it be? end of life?

welcome to hcm ...encephalopathy is a broad term whuch also includes the other things besides infection as degenerative diseases etc
please donot loose heart and donot say that it is end of life
