What Do Excess Plasma Lipids Help Form Atherosclerotic Plaques?
Excess plasma lipids in the form of cholesterol contribute to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques within blood vessel walls. Which of the following is NOT a likely consequence of such plaques?more 1.resistance to flow due to a decrease in blood vessel diameter 2. turbulent blood flow around the plaque 3. increased pressure due to a loss of elasticity in the vessel wall 4. All of the above are likely consequences of plaques.
HI Well come to HMC If this is excessive cholesterol then this could cause formation of plaques all the stated condition may be likely to happen here, but some time this are varies from patient to patient theoretically this is possible but in practical and clinically this may not be, hope this helps, have a nice day.
