What Do Flank Pain With Fatigue And Vaginal Bleeding Suggest?

Hi Female, 44 years old. went to Dr. last Tuesday, pain in flank area, some chills, fatigue, previous kidney infection 2 years ago. Prescribed Levofloxacin while urine test was being done. took for 3 days, urine came back negative, blood test came back fine, pregnancy test negative, stopped medication, but now have some blood from vaginal area that is not my period, which was June 17th.. Any idea what is going on? plan to see gyn this week.

Hello madam, Welcome to HCM. Bleeding from vagina is not related to kidney. Urinary infection iis solved.Two options are there which can be confirmed by tests. One, because of stress, early periods. Second - it may be threatened abortion. Have UPT test to rule out pregnancy. If it comes negative, then mostly it is early periods.Will be there for 5 days with less bleeding as it is early. This is because the uterus wall lining is minimal. Take care.
