What Do Fluttering Sensation And Pain In The Chest Indicate?

Heart attack in Feb 1 stint, followed by second 5 months later. Have been tested several times in ER for flutter and had monitor 2 weeks showed ok. Tonight awoke from sleep in chair, coughed and had noticeable flutter very light chest pain. Lots of anxiety.

Fluttering sensation may be merely a sequele of anxiety but in your case while there is a strong history of ischemic heart disease, this flutter along with other arrhythmias are a consequence of irritable ischemic foci in the heart muscle. I strongly recommend to have a complete review of the medications you are taking for ischemic heart disease plus monitoring the response along with improvement in quality of life. Dear you may need flutter ablation depending on your disease status e.g. if ejection fraction is
