What Do Green Coloured Bowel Movements Indicate?

I have noticed in the past three days...my pooh is green! What could that possibly mean? I did run a slight fever for a few days before this phenomenon. Should I be worried? No, I haven t eaten anything green hat I can remember. A few pluots, but that would be it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks forasking. I undrstand yourconcern.
Many times green colour oof food is due to eating green vegetables... food colouers.. coloured drinks. In such case green poops are considered normal.
In case food moves out from bowels too quickly (diarrhea/irritable bowel syndrome).. more amount of bile is seen in stools.. as it does not break due to bacteria to digest green vegetables &other food elements.
If yiu are sure you don't eat/drink anything green... &have loose bowels... you should get advice of gastroenterologist / &set digestion right by using up bile ... this would help.
Thanks.
