What Do Hard Lumps Around Belly Button With Swollen Legs While On Coumadin Suggest?
I am on coumadin and have hard and tender lumps above and below my belly button. I took lovolix shots for weeks plus. Cuma din . My doctor thinks it s fluid as I have gained 15 lbs and my leg is swolen. I have a blood clot from my ankle to my thigh.my wife thinks it s kidney problem. Your thoughts please
Coumadin is good in maintaining your blood from clotting, but it's associated with many other problems including hemorrhage although in small amount. These might explain the lumps you do feel. The swollen belly could be due to water retention. Please check out with cardiologist, kidney doctor and check your liver as well. We should see which of these organs are having problem causing fluid retention. You have multiple problems that need to get re-evaluated by the specialists mentioned above.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
