What Do Hard Lumps On The Palms Of Both The Hands Indicate?
I have a couple of hard lumps in the palm of both of my hands. They are not painful but if I open my hands and stretch them they are uncomfortable. I ve had them for three or four years. I assumed they were pill ideal cysts but after reading up on them they appear to be mostly on an individual s tailbone and filled with hair. I can t imagine that would be my case. What could they be? Should I see a doctor?
It could be papilloma or wart. In most cases it will settle by itself. Once the diagnosis is confirmed you can opt for either cauterisation or cryosurgery. Consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. If there is diagnostic confusion a biopsy may be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
