What Do Hazy Densities On A Lung X-ray Indicate?

hi doc, this is carly and I want to ask something about my child, my child has hazy densities seen on her right lower lung according to her x-ray. Since she was born we heard something from her chest and it s kind a noisy,so we decided to consult her, actually she was already 5 months old right now,. the impression of her x-ray is pneumonia, is this something to worry about? what causes hazy densities?

Hi,

Pneumonia is infant needs to be treated promptly. I suggest you to consult your pediatrician for clinical assessment and hence treatment. The immune system of infants is not fully developed so mild infections can turn serious if not treated in time.
