Most probable causes are hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia or lowered blood sugars as in diabetes mellitus, Addison s disease, transient ischemic attacks, tension headaches, migraine with or without aura, cluster headache, hypopituitarism, intracranial tumors, hemiplegic migraine and chronic fatigue syndrome. A general physician or a neuro-physician would help you better than a gastroenterologist. All the above causes have to be ruled out by detailed history, thorough clinical examination and any diagnostic tests if necessary.
