What Do Headaches, Weakness And Muscle Fatigue Indicate?
My son is 30 years old. He is experiencing daily headaches, weakness, muscle fatigue, no energy. He went to a GI doctor (he also has pains in his stomach and his father died of intestinal cancer 1/14) who ran a series of blood work but the results aren t in yet. Any ideas? I don t think a GI doctor is the one for these symptoms, but I wouldn t know which specialist to call. He does not have an internist.
A general physician or a neuro-physician would help you better than a gastroenterologist. All the above causes have to be ruled out by detailed history, thorough clinical examination and any diagnostic tests if necessary. Only then we can get the specific diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
