What Do High Plasma Levels While On Zithromax And Keflex Indicate?

I am consulting regarding my child 12 and a half years old. He had a ster infection took keflex symptom of tics subsided. Retuned afew days after finishing the meds. Currently he is on Zithromax. The dr put him on an anti inflammatory med. recint blood results: SED rate 25. antistreplolysin Oab 992.6 Amino acid profile Qn, plasma are mostly in high ranges. BUN 24. Bun/Creatnine ratio 44EBV Ab VCA, IgG284.0 EBV Nuclear Antigen Ab,IgG 86.1 Mycoplasma pneu. IgG Abs Anti-DNase B Strep Antibodies 283 Lyme IgG 1.57

Hi,

I do not have the normal lab values BUT that seems like a really high streptolysin antibody and not that bad on everything else. cannot say in your particular case, but generally, sounds like garden variety strep. We know that 10 full days of antibiotics is needed for this.
