What Do Hyperaerated Lungs In A X-ray Report Suggest?
I am 55 female and have never smoked. Parents smoked in the house while I was growing up. I have had an on going clearing of My throat. Doctor took chest X-ray and says the lungs are hyperaerated. The lungs are otherwise clear without effusion or infiltrate . Doctor says that can mean there is COPD. Wants me to have a pulmonary function test but I am scared to take it. I feel fine otherwise. No shortness of breath when walking etc.
