What Do Hypoechoic Mass In Liver Ultrasound Indicate?

Hi, I have just had an ultrasound on my liver and they have found a 2.0 x 2.5cm hypoechoic mass within the left lobe of the liver. Demonstrating increased echogenicity, No binary dilatation. What is a hypoechoic mass? My liver function and complete blood count work all came back normal.
