What Do Inconsistent Results Of Thyroid Level In Blood Test Suggest?
I had blood work done in the fall that showed signs of a hyperthyroid. I then had blood work done in January that shows a normal thyroid. Blood work was done again in July that. Old sho signs of a hyperthyroid. What .does it mean when the blood work is inconsistent
It can be due to sub clinical hyperthyroidism. You can check freeT3, freeT4 and TSH instead of normal thyroid function test. If you are hyperthyroid, lower dose of anti thyroid drugs may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
