What Do Increased Sensitivity To Heat And Cold Indicate?
Yes! I have been having increase sensitivity to heat and cold. First I YYYY@YYYY having sensitivity to the touch then, sensitivity to cold and now I m having sensitivity to heat. I can t sleep at night because my body temp goes up very often and then I sweat like crazy none stop sometimes. I m not sure whats going on.
Hi, Thanks for writing in to HCM. You may be having viral fever because of which there is rise in body temperature and then sweating. Kindly take lots of fluids and stay hydrated. Is there any sore throat accompanying this ? Then you may need to consult a physician and start on antibiotics like Amoxycillin 500mg thrice a day for 5 days. If there is no symptoms of cold and cough associated then Kindly consult a physician and get your thyroid profile done. Fluctuations in thyroid hormones can give rise to similar symptoms.
