What Do Intermittent Fever And Abdominal Pain When Having Liver Cirrhosis Indicate?

My husband was diagnosed with cirrhosis but his liver is still normal size after 2 years, he has low albumin, monocytosis, sight esonophilia, intermittent fevers and right lower quadrant pain, he also has large volume ascites that does not respond to diuretic treatment and needs paracentesis,

Hi,

Once USG, bilirubin, hepatitis B, C, A, etc., should be ruled out. Biopsy will give a diagnosis as the liver can regenerate also. Keep a check on LFT along with medicine from a gastroenterologist. Do breathing exercises as it will prolong the liver's life.
