What Do Irritated Bumps Like Patches On Hands Indicate?
Lately, I ve had dry irritated patches develop on my hands. And in some cases, little bumps I just noticed like an under the skin rash. The patches tend to go away a bit if I use more lotion or cortozone cream. I don t know what this issue is and it s getting a bit worse after two months.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of irritated bumps like patches on hands. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like contact dermatitis , skin infection , eczema, bug bite and other medical condition. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to stop using any cosmetic product, only apply petroleum jelly , protect your skin from sun exposure, and apply broad spectrum sunscreen when in exposure to sun . Also take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl. Consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor will examine physically , take history , order skin test for allergy and blood test. Doctor may order corticosteroid ointment, anti allergic medicine, antibiotics and or prescribe substitute.
