What Do Itchy Bumps On The Ankles And Shoulders Indicate?

What causes small bumps about the size of a grain of sand and itches severely. They are from my ankle to my shoulders mostly on inside of legs, buttocks, waist, and around armpit and tender part of arms. I can t seem to find anything to completely get rid of it. I wash thoroughly, then wash with alcohol on the spots, then use calamine lotion over the top of infected areas. This seems to stop the itching and reduce the bumps but does not clear them up completely. Nothing works topically.

hi sir/Mam, following are the possible causes of rash with itching all over the body :
1)eczema
2)scabies
3)body louse infestation
4)papular urticaria either due to mosquito bites or flea bites.
5)allergic contact dermatitis
6)tinea corporis or ring worm infection
7)drug allergy
8)psoriasis
diagnosis can be arrived at only after examination of rash.so, a dermatologist consultation cant be overlooked.for symptomatic treatment, following are some recommendations :
1)anti histamines like hydroxyzine or cetirizine to be taken twice daily.as they are mild sedative,avoid driving after administration
2)hydrocortisone cream can be used for topical application.
3)very gentle soaps like Cetaphil are to be used.
4)avoid newer cosmetics and bathing prod
