Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lot of raised bumps on my skin, mostly on my legs. They appear like large freckles or sometimes moles or beauty marks. My doctor told me there was a name for it but I can’t remember. They sometimes will itch and scab over but they always come back
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy bumps on the legs which seems due to allergic reaction, folliculitis, side effect to certain medications and seborrheic dermatitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep the site clean and dry , apply over the counter antibiotics ointment. Avoid pricking bumps. Apply cold compresses on skin. Take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl and protect it from sun ray exposure . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , antibiotics or immunosuppressants .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
