What Do Itchy Bumps On The Thighs And Chest Indicate?
My skin itches a lot and i often have little bumps that appear. It started on the thighs and fluctuates between my back, chest and thighs. I thought it might be an allergy and tried tooical creams aa well as benadryl pills but nothing helps. I have had chicken pox before so i know its not that. Any ideas ?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hello,
Chickenpoxrash has a definitive span, and it does not recur haphazardly. Allergic rest easily goes with steroid skin cream. You did not have it so. You seem to have either allergy or fungal infection causing it. More exaggerated by sweating and damp moist skin. You should try with Multifungin ointment, or dusting powder have frequent washes and wear cotton loose fitting clothes to control. In case of no relief, consult a skin specialist for oral antifungal agents.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
