What Do Itchy Rashes On The Arms And Chest Indicate?

I have a rash that started on my left arm then my right arm then my chest, torso, my back n the top half of my legs, its so itchy. have had it for 2 months now. all the pics I've looked up dont compare to what I have. I need to know what I'm dealing with. My boyfriend started getting it 1 month after me, it feels at time like bites but when we look at the bite at the time we don't see anything biting, , he's not as bad as me. we can't figure it out. can you help?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Your symptoms are appearing like allergic reaction and in case if your boyfriend is also getting the same then it can be most probably bed bugs or any other bugs or insects in your house..
Also it can be due to any common allergen..
So it is advisable to take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine and apply a steroid ointment over the rashes for relief..
You can also apply Calamine lotion and do cool compresses or take a cold water bath..
You can disinfect your house and put your mattresses and sheets in hot sun..
In case if there is no improvement consult an Emergency room and get a blood test done..
