What Do Itchy Red Rashes Around The Ears Indicate?

So for the past few months I ve had a red patches of itchy skin around my ears towards the back of my skull and around the front of my ears on the skull. I do wear a headset every day and I m thinking you could be caused by that. But it does cause me to itch and it becomes inflamed.

Hi,

By your history and description, the possibility of skin infection due to the headset is more likely.

So better to consult a dermatologist and get done a clinical examination of rashes. You need to stop using those headphones. You will also need antibiotic cream for local application.

Oral antihistamine drug like levocetirizine or fexofenadine is needed for itching. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
