I have been having random itchy spots appearing mostly on my arms and back for the last few weeks. I ve also had a few times when it has been hard to breath if I am lying flat on my back or side. I do have COPD that is being treated with Advair & Ventolin, also high blood pressure treated with atenolol and Lisinopril.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might be having some allergic rashes. It may not be related to your OPD or medications. Allergy can develop due to several reasons- some foods like egg, fish, pollen grains, animal hair, nylon, terylene clothes. Just try to find out what you are allergic to and avoid it. Try home remedies. Apply coconut oil daily three times a day for one week. If you are not better to consult a dermatologist. It can be a fungal infection or eczema.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sanjay Kini
