What Do Light Spotting Instead Of Periods Indicate?

On May 22 I started what I thought was a period and it had only lasted that day and then some light blood was present when drying after urination have taken several hpts that have been negative also done a blood test that came back negative, I still have not had a full period since April. I am very irritable, I am getting hot flashes, tired all the time, dizziness and I do get some cramps every once in a while.

You have not mentioned your age. These may be the premenstrual symptoms due to hormonal dysbalance. Noresthisterone 5mg is to be taken twice daily for 7days prior expected date of starting of mensturation for several cycles to get a regular cycle. Excessive stress may also cause such problems. Proper rest with healthy diet is recomended. There is also a chance of ovarian cyst in which this therapy would not help. A ultrasound is also has to be done to get this diagnosis. Uterine adhesion may also be present. If your age is above 40 this may be due to hormonal irregularities at premenstural age.
If your symptoms will not get relieved you may visit a gynecologist for counselling and proper management.
