What Do Low Blood Sugar Level And Body Aches In A Child Suggest?

My son has been sick on and off for the past year. Low blood sugar and billirubin numbers were off. Then he ate right and got better. Now he is sick again. Extremely bad body aches associated with fever (102) and nausea. It keeps coming back. He can t catch a break. This has been going on so long now. They said that he is hypoglycemic, but he is eating right now. What is our next step?

i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns....
As far as Hypoglycemia is concerned, it is not a disease but its just a manifestation. There is need to look for its cause , after then a reasoned coclusion can be drawn for proper management...
Fever on the other hand, shows he has got infection going on. For this he needs proper appropriate antibiotics...
You should meet PEDIATRICIAN so that he can
Be examined and investigated properly.
You may need to get his FBC, ESR ,RBS along with abdominal ultrasound scan
Meanwhile stay calm and use cold sponging as well as acetaminophen drops to relieve pain.
