What Do Low Density Lesions Throughout The Renal Parenchyma And A Right Adrenal Mass Indicate?
There are low density lesions seen throughout the renal parenchyma. Some of theses appear to represent cysts. There s a low density lesion in the right lower pole of the kidney which measures approximately 8 mm that does not appear to represent a simple cyst. There is a 3.5 cm right adrenal mass, which demonstrates heterogeneous echotexture. The overall Hounsfield units are suggestive of an adenoma; however, the standard deviation and heterogeneity of the mass does raise some concern for a possible superimposed neoplasm. This is on a CT report of the abdomen. Can you shed some light on what this means?
Your scan report shows that your having simple cysts on right kidney with a 3.5 cm mass on right adrenal area. It may be tumor is called adrenal adenoma or cyst is confirmed by CT scan of abdomen.
I think I answered to your question so you have to consult your treating doctor and get it done CT scan abdomen.
