Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Low hemoglobin along with low blood cell count is quite common with chemotherapy. This is because chemo drugs suppress rapidly dividing cancer cells along with proliferating bone marrow cells which produce all blood cells. You can take iron supplements and take diet rich in iron containing foods. If the anemia is severe you may require blood transfusions. There is not that much to worry and the hemoglobin will revert once the chemo is over.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
