Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have cysts all over my stomach area underneath my skin, all my doctors have simply ignored them. What kind of doctor would be interested in finding out why they re there? What kind of cysts are they? I ve had them for 10 years or more and so far my white blood cell count has been normal, but these cysts don t feel normal. Joanne

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
H Joanne, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. The 'Cysts" you describe under skin of abdomen seems to be- - Sub cutaneous fat globules, while deposition of excess fat in body.. It being a normal bodily activity white blood cells rise or no other symptoms are seen except for increased body weight. This can be managed by fat free , carbohydrate restricted & vitamin rich diet / sufficient physical work out daily/ sound sleep for 6-8 hours in a day OR liposuction surgery. Consult a cosmetic surgeon. - Lymphoma - where 2 or more fat globules combine to form asymptomatic cyst, can be left untreated unless when it increases in size - needs surgical excision. Thanks
