Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that lumps at the back of tongue and also yellowish orange coating of tongue along with heart burn is indicating that the lumps over the tongue seems to be most probably due to inflamed circumvallate papillae and is probably due to
acid reflux that occurs when the acid from stomach refluxes into food pipe and throat leading to burning sensation as well as if it comes to throat and mouth there can be inflammation in throat as well as inflamed papillae leading to their swelling..
The coating on tongue is due to food particles that gets refluxed with acid and gets accumulated over the tongue papillae..
I would suggest you to
consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like upper G.I
Endoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take
Proton Pump Inhibitors like
Omeprazole or
Pantoprazole..
Take antacids like
Milk of magnesia..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Always take walk after meals and take your dinner atleast 2 hours before sleep..
You should sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..
You should also do warm saline gargles and suck ice pops to reduce swelling of tonsils..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
