What Do Missed Periods With Negative Result In HPT Suggest?
Hi, my name is Philip. My wife and I are trying to have a child. She has been off birth control for about three months and had her period. She is starting to worry a little because her period usually happened every 5th week before the pill and now after she had her period after the pill she is on her 6th week and has not had her period and her pregnancy test is showing up negative. Is this a concern or will her time frame for periods be unstable for a while?

It can take a little while after the discontinuation of an hormonal contraceptive, for the periods to regularize, it does not mean that there are any problems present.
It can take a few months for regularizing to occur.
