Hi. I saw a dermatologist last week for moles on both arms. He burnt off the mole on my right arm with nitric something or other but the moles on my left arm he said were not cancerous just age spots. I wonder though because the moles that he didn t treat are crusty to the touch. He touched them and said that they were age spots as I ve said above. could he be mistaken? Hopefully not?
I can understand your concern for moles. It appears that you are quite very much stressed regarding the omen possibility in the area. You have not told your age and related medical history as well as a picture of the area is quite important to diagnose the exact entity. But as you said your doctor has examined he area and has guided you that these are age spots then there is nothing to be worried about the same. In most of the cases of above 35 years of age spots or senile spots are confused with moles and are looked with caution. I reassure you that as you have been examined therefore the possibility of any melanoma or related thing is not present. Still if you are worried then you can discuss further with a dermatologist. Take care.
