What Do Multiple Follicles In The Ovaries On An Ultrasound Report Suggest?

hi.. i am 31 y.o .. im 8 years married with 2 children.. i went to the hospital to have a check for my UTI.. the doctor advised me to have an ultrasound.. they dont see anything wrong with my kidney but they saw my ovaries with multiple subcentimeter follicles.. is it normal to have those?

welcome to hcm ..no it is ultrasound diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome ..but it has to be confirmed by lab tests as lipid profile ..thyroid profile ...FSH ..LH ...PROLACTIN ..TESTOSTERONE ..majority of patients present with decreased fertility plus abnormal facial hair and menstruation problems ...major cause is excessive weight ..please go for tests and consult a gynaecologist ..with drugs you will benefit
