Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I HAD A MRI AND THE RESULTS SAID , THE ULNAR ATTACHMENT OF THE TRIANGULAR FIBROCARTILAGE APPEARS SOMEWHAT ATTENUATED AND IRREGULAR WITH INCREASE T2 SIGNAL , AS ON T2 GRADIENT ECHO CORONAL IMAGES 10-12, T2 CORONAL IMAGES 11-13. NO DEFINITE FULL- THICKNESS RUPTURE SEEN. MINIMAL SLIVER OF FLUID WITHIN DISTAL RADIOULNAR JOINT.
The tendon isn't torn but it might as well be. It is worn out. This is going to take time and skilful guidance to get it back to being able to work. Tendons take months to slowly grow back.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
